As many of you know, NAM's four overall competitions at the state level include Formal Wear, Personal Introduction, Interview, and Community Involvement. The Community Involvement portion of the competition makes up 10% of each state finalist's overall score. Then, whoever becomes the new state queen (in each age division) chooses a charity to work with throughout the year where all of these books and bears are to be donated. Our National American Miss Arizona Queens have been busy donating their books and bears in recent months.

Aside from donating their books and bears to The New Life Center, Giavonna Donati and Gabby Arcilla have been spending their time volunteering for Feed My Starving Children. Giavonna is the reigning National American Miss Arizona Junior Pre-teen, and Gabby is the reigning National American Miss Arizona Pre-teen.
