Wow...I can't believe it’s been a year since I was crowned your 2014 National American Miss Nebraska Princess. It was such a magical moment and God had so much in store.
Throughout the year, I was blessed to have many volunteer opportunities. I donated baked goods, books, and stuffed animals to the Rainbow House and read to the children there.
I started a non-profit charity called Lollipop Limo to Benefit the Children's Miracle Network after being a patient at the Children's Hospital, and was excited to raise $500.00.
I loved being in parades with my sister queens. At the state fair, we signed autographs like celebrities and rode in a fire truck together.
I made many appearances and met the Nebraska rodeo queen, the Senators and Governor. I was on tv and the radio. I spoke at the capital in honor of the NAM Proclamation day and had a piece of legislature created just for me.
Going to nationals was a dream come true. I met so many sister queens and staff. I was awarded a spirit stick, trophies, and was so excited to win the 2014 National Model title. I will never forget all my Hollywood and Disney memories.
My sister queens Wellsley, Naomi, Greta, and Katelyn are the best big sisters a girl can have and I look up to each of them. The Ewings are the best directors ever! I am thankful to the Mayes for having such an amazing pageant system! It was a blast helping out at the workshops and open calls.
I could never be the princess I am today without my mommy and daddy. Thank you for everything mom. Daddy you are the best escort that a girl can have and have great credit cards! I love you to the moon and back.
To my successor you are in for the ride of your life, good luck and have fun. Signing off as your 2014 National American Miss Nebraska Princess, Be your own kind of beautiful!
